About me
My name is Vólia. I’m a social scientist, a researcher of people, and a writer. I’m Brazilian, born and raised in São Paulo — one of the largest cities in Latin America — and that perspective inevitably finds its way into everything I do.
I write partly to keep up a dialogue with the voices in my head, and partly because I believe stories are infinite, shaped by whoever is experiencing, observing, or reading them.
If none of that made much sense to you, it didn’t to me either. That’s probably a good start, don’t you think?
